PURPOSE:To obtain a compact optical disk reproducer that needs a small space by setting an optical head for LD which reproduces LD information at such a position where no interference is produced with a CD, an optical head for CD, a CD optical disk driving part, etc. CONSTITUTION:When an optical disk (LD) where video information, etc., are recorded and an optical disk (CD) where music information, etc., are recorded are reproduced at one time, the center of a CD optical disk driving part 20 which holds the CD is moved backward by a prescribed distance (about 80-90mm) based on a LD optical disk driving part 10 which holds the LD. At the same time, the CD optical disk attachment surface is moved downward by a prescribed distance (about 5-10mm) from the LD optical disk attachment surface. The independent optical heads which function to reproduce the information of both optical disks are driven by each optical head drive mechanism and set so that no mutual interference is produced between the ranges where the recorded areas of both optical disks are scanned. |
