The invention relates to a sport and dancing area on which it is possible for amateur or professional athletes to train. It consists of a platform 1 formed by a floor resting on metal joists connected by vertical posts 2 to which four beams 3 are fixed. Various pieces of gymnastic apparatus 4 are positioned on these beams with the aid of two hooks. Tensioning devices 5 are fixed to the four posts in order to receive ropes, for a use as a boxing ring. These ropes can be replaced, by means of three fittings, by dancing barres 6. A bank of lamps 7 is installed on the upper structure and sound projectors 8 are installed at the top of the posts. A support 9 is fixed on one side of the platform in order to receive a piece of sound equipment. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for gymnastics and dancing. <IMAGE>
