Safety device for connecting flexible hoses, characterised in that the clamping collar 3 is trapped in a two-part sleeve 4, one part 5 of which is securely joined to the usual end fitting 2, whereas the other part 6 of which locks in an undismantleable way on the first one. One, 5, of the parts of the sleeve is in the shape of a shouldered plate, including at least one radial screw 7 capable of extending into a groove 8 of the end fitting 2. The plate 5 has at least one radial bore 10 in which there is housed a finger 9 pushed towards the periphery of the plate under the action of a spring 11, it being possible for the said finger to penetrate into a groove 12 of the internal periphery of the other part 6 which assumes substantially the shape of a bell. <IMAGE>
