PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of blurs in a printing image, etc., accompanying the deviation of a printing information position to prevent the printed image from deteriorating in quality, by a method wherein, a recording medium is divided into a plurality of areas, recording frequencies are detected for every area in one page, and a warning is outputted when the difference between the recording frequencies reaches a predetermied value or more. CONSTITUTION:An MPU judges whether the characters of the document data in a document memory 23 are positioned in a right or left area, and the number of characters per area is counted by a counter 24. Counters 240 and 241 count the number of characters in the left and right areas of a paper, respectively. When the difference between the right and left counters 240, 241 reaches a predetermined value or more, a warning message, etc., is displayed on a display unit 3. First, whether all of the document data for designated one page in the document memory 23 has been read is checked. If all of the data has not been read, a position of a print buffer 21 where image data is to be stored is determined. When the printing is conducted on the left area, 1 is added to the counter 240; if on the right area, 1 is added to the counter 241. After the document data in the document memory 23 is completely developed, whether the difference between the counters 240, 241 reaches the predetermined value or more is checked. |
