This device for remote guidance in azimuth includes light emitters 1, 1' seen from a point 5 of a capture area b intermittently and in an order which is representative of the azimuthal position of the point 5 with respect to an approach axis 2; the emitters are two rotating synchronised emitters 1, 1' of light beams 3, 3' scanning the capture area b in azimuth in opposite direction and symmetrically with respect to the approach axis 2. The capture area b is limited by cutoff screens 4, 4'. The speed of scanning of the capture area b by each lamp 1, 1' is varied so as to be minimal in the direction of the approach axis 2 and maximum towards the edges of the capture area b. <IMAGE>
