<p>PURPOSE:To enable distribution of sheet materials at a high speed, by a method wherein sheet materials are received by a second sheet material nipping conveying means, and after the second means delivers the sheet materials to a first sheet material nipping conveying means waiting in a given bin position and distributing the sheet materials to respective bins, it is immediately returned to its home position. CONSTITUTION:A second sheet material nipping conveying means 4 waiting to a discharge port part 70 being a home position nips a sheet material from a discharge roller pair 83 through rotation of roller pairs 44 and 45. When the forward end of the sheet material is detected by a sensor 49, the rotation is stopped, and the second means is raises approximately at the same speed as a sheet discharge speed up to a position where it is positioned facing a first sheet material nipping conveying means 2 waiting at a bin 1c being a home position. The sheet material is nipped by the first means 2 through rotation of the roller pairs 44, 45 and 24, 25. When the forward end of the sheet material is detected by a sensor 29, the second means 4 rotates the roller pairs 44 and 45 at a high speed or after it releases the sheet material from its nipping, it returns to the discharge port part 70. After the first means 2 distributes the sheet materials to respective bins 1a-1j, it is returned to its home position. This constitution enables sheet materials to be distributed at a high speed.</p> |
