PURPOSE:To extend discharging time of the try cell in the caption under a heavy load by charging black mixture for cell whose ratio by weight of acetylene black to manganese dioxide is specified and adjusted to 6/94 in a can of zinc. CONSTITUTION:Black mix for cell whose ratio by weight of acetylene black whose quantity of absorbing hydrochloric acid prescribed in JIS K-1469 is more than 20ml/5g and manganese dioxide is adjusted in the range of 12/88-6/94 is charged in a can of zinc. A dry cell with excellent heavy load discharging characteristic can not be obtained under the condition that the quantity of absorbing hydrochloric acid of acetylene black is less than 20ml/5g, because the quantity of electrolyte held in it is lessened. Under the condition that the ratio by weight of acetylene black to manganese dioxide is less than 12/88, excellent heavy load discharging characteristic is achieved but long time discharging can not be carried out, and in case of exceeding 6/94, charging quantity of manganese dioxide becomes large but its utilization factor goes down and also the quantity of electrolyte held in it is lessened. Accordingly, a manganese dioxide try call with more than 50% of utilization factor and excellent heavy load discharging characteristic cen be obtained. |
