PURPOSE:To prevent the thermal deformation of the titled member to be obtained in high-temp. service and also to sufficiently maintain the function of the above member, by providing a coating layer also to the rear face of a base material in a composite heat-resisting member having a corrosion- resisting coating layer on the front, to be opposite to a high-temp. material, of the base material. CONSTITUTION:One or more corrosion-resisting coating layers 1 are provided to the front, to be opposite to a high-temp. material, of a base material 2 made of Ta, etc., and a coating layer 4 is also formed on the rear face of the base material 2. By this method, in the base material 2, heat-insulating effects by respective coating layers 1, 4 produced both at both front and rear faces and internal temp. distribution is uniformized and, as a result, deformation die to temp. change can be inhibited. Further, it is desirable that the coating layers provided to the front and/or rear face consist of one kinds among ZrO2, Y2O3, HfO2, ThO2, MgO, and Al2O3, respectively.
