PURPOSE:To enable printing by setting sizes of characters of all inputted character data collectively to be executed, by a method wherein a magnifying power expressing the size of a character to all memorized character, or all characters within a specific indicated range is set, and outputting for printing of the characters is executed by following this magnifying power. CONSTITUTION:Characters of 'vertical 1Xlateral 1' expressing a magnifying power which becomes firstly a standard as a specific magnifying power of all documents are indicated on an indication part 13 by the operation of a full 'em' key 15c. Then, a collective magnifying power '1' is memorized to be set in a collective specific magnifying power data register 58 by the operation of an execution key 15a following the abovementioned operation. Then, a lateral specific magnifying power indication is changed from one time to two times by the operation of a cursor key 16. Thereafter, the collective lateral magnifying power '2' is memorized to be set in the collective specific magnifying power data register 58 by the operation of the execution key 15a. The memory content in the collective specific magnifying power data register 58 are sent to an operation part 61 at that time, and this collective specific magnifying power data and a magnifying power data in each character data memorized in a document data memory part 56 are operated by the operation part 61. Thereby, data expressing a magnifying power in actual printing are calculated, sent to a magnifying power judgment part 62 and besides, sent to a character generater 59 for indication. |
