The present invention relates to a turbulator which is suitable for being placed in a heat-exchanger tube, in order to create a turbulent flow of the fluid circulating in this tube. The turbulator 1 comprises a strip of material 3 wound into a helix and a protruberance 8 arranged on the outer radial edge of the said strip and running along it, the said protruberance comprising a surface portion 11 facing the inner wall 12 of the tube 13 and similar to the portion of the latter facing it. <IMAGE>
