PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a rubber flange part and to improve the assembling workability by increasing the size between the lower end of a groove part of the rubber where a lock bar of a unit mechanism is inserted and the flange part compared with the size set when the unit mechanism is fixed at a chassis. CONSTITUTION:In a vibration insulating mechanism for a CD player, etc., the size between the lower end of a groove part 6b of a rubber 6 and a flange part 6c, i.e., the height H of the rubber 6 is increased. A coil spring 4 is attached over the rubber 6 and the lower end of the spring 4 is locked by the part 6c of the rubber 6. Furthermore the upper end of the spring 4 is pushed lower than the part 6b of the rubber 6. Under such conditions, the part 6b is inserted into a locking piece 1a of a unit mechanism 1. In other words, the spring 4 is positioned between the piece 1a and the frange part 6c of the rubber 6. In such a constitution, the flexure value of the spring 4 is decreased and therefore the spring force is reduced. As a result, the spring 4 is surely attached without deforming the rubber 6.
