PURPOSE:To facilitate an editing work freely, by providing a paper carrying means, a means for reading out image information on the paper, a printing means, a communication means and a control means. CONSTITUTION:Upon the depression of a switch, a control section 16 controls a reading means 2 to read out image information on a paper 5 so as to store the image information in a memory section 19 at a microcomputor 6 side. In other word, when the rear end portion 5d of the paper 5 is carried to read-out the position of the reading means 2, the paper 5 is fed reversely, then the head portion 5e is fed reversely to the print head of a printer 3a and stops. Then the control section 22 performs automatic recognition work and selects proper character size, character space, line space, etc. corresponding to rules which are displayed on a CRT 20a so as to enable the input of desired image information while confirming the display. Here, the inputted image information is displayed while being enlarged or reduced to be contained between rules of paper 5 displayed on the CRT 20a. When other image information is additionally inserted from a personal computor 6 and entirely inputted into the memory section 19, a printing means 3 is operated by means of the operating button of the printer to print all image information at desired positions on the paper 5, thereafter the paper is discharged from a platen roll 9.
