PURPOSE:To easily and certainly inject a specimen solution in a specimen injection part, by transparentizing one of two parallel electric insulating rigid plates having a gel film therebetween and providing a columnar lens to the outer surface of a said plate in the vicinity of the upper end thereof so as to face to the specimen injection part. CONSTITUTION:Spacers 33, 34 are adhered to both end parts of a web composed of a polyethylene terephthalate film and one end of a gel film 35 composed of a hydrophilic polymer formed to a recessed part is cut off in a rectangular groove shape and subsequently covered with a cover sheet 31b to obtain a medium sheet 30 for electrophoresis. The electrophoretic medium sheet 30 and a cap forming sheet 40 are inserted between glass plates 21a, 21b each having a notch at the end part thereof to form an electrophoretic plate 20. The electrophoretic sheet 30 and the spacer sheet 40 are removed and the electrophoretic plate 20 is used and a columnar lens 41 is mounted to the upper end of the electrophoretic plate using the hooks provided to both ends of said plate 20. A DNA specimen is injected in the specimen injection port of the electrophoretic plate using a microsyringe to perform electrophoresis on the electrophoretic gel sheet.
