The invention relates to a device making it possible to enhance the aerodynamic characteristics of a wing of flexible or semi-rigid structure. It consists of the total or partial closure of the leading edge by surfaces made of fabric or flexible materials. The inflation of the closed part may take place through apertures formed laterally or on the lower and/or upper surfaces. The device according to the invention relates to wings of the parachute-wing and parapent type.
