<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the storing capacity of a storage device by validating only a light emitting/receiving art corresponding to a selected switch display and storing switch data based on the detection of the validated light emitting/ receiving part. CONSTITUTION:In a touch data input device 1, a CPU 2 selects only a corresponding light emitting/receiving part out of light emitting/receiving parts 6-13 for a switch set up by switch display displayed on a CRT 5. When the switch is displayed on the CRT 5, the CPU 2 validates only the light emitting/receiving part corresponding to the selected switch. A ROM 3 stores switch data based upon the detection of the validated light emitting/receiving part every switch display displayed on the CRT 5. Consequently, a switch matrix can be optionally set up while holding hardware forming a detecting area at the same constitution and the capacity of the ROM 3 storing the switch data can be reduced.</p> |
