PURPOSE:To extend the length of a hoop stock without increasing the diameter in the state of its being wound by winding the hoop stock spirally so that the width dimension of the whole body in the state of being wound may become larger than the strip width dimension thereof. CONSTITUTION:A hoop stock 10 is spirally wound and the width dimension B of the whole body in the state of its being wound become larger than the strip width dimension A of the hoop stock 10 thereof. The length of the hoop stock per winding can thus be extended and the production and working efficiency are improved.
