PURPOSE:To perform liquid crystal injection of good quality by putting a liquid crystal reservoir of specific depth and a liquid crystal cell which has an injection opening in a specific vacuum state, and lowering the degree of vacuum and injecting liquid crystal into the liquid crystal cell from the liquid crystal reservoir. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal cell 8 which has the liquid crystal injection opening 7 at a corner is dipped in the liquid crystal reservoir 9 of <=10mm in depth under a vacuum and the degree of vacuum is set to <=0.5Torr; and the vacuum state is removed and then the liquid crystal 10 is charged in the liquid crystal 8 in the liquid crystal reservoir to manufacture a liquid crystal display device. For example, the depth of the liquid crystal in the liquid crystal reservoir 9 is 2.5mm and the degree of vacuum is set to 0.005Torr; and the liquid crystal cell 8 is dipped in the liquid crystal 9 and the liquid crystal is injected by leaking with gaseous N2, so that the liquid crystal can be injected completely without containing any air bubble. Thus, the liquid crystal injection is performed without forming any air bubble in the liquid crystal cell 8.
