PURPOSE:To decrease errors by the disturbance of globulin and other proteins by dispensing an indicator into a hydrophobic polymer or mixture composed of the hydrophobic and hydrophilic polymer and incorporating and holding the same into a developing layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one hydrophilic polymer binder layer contg. a pH buffer agent comps. and the porous developing layer contg. the indicator which makes a color change by bonding with albumin are integrally laminated in this order on a light transmissive water impermeable base. The indicator is dispersed in the hydrophobic polymer or the mixture composed of the hydrophobic polymer and the hydrophilic polymer and is incorporated and held in the developing layer. Hydrochloric acid-base indicating dyes which indicate a protein error, for example, bromcresol green, bromcresol purple, etc., are more preferably used as the indicator which makes the color change by bonding with the albumin. A polymer which functions as a binder having film formability and is capable of dispersing and holding the indicator without substantially reacting with the indicator and without being substantially fixed thereto is preferable as the polymer to disperse and hold the indicator.
