1. Device for the spraying of coolant from nozzles (10, 16) of a cutter head, which is fitted with bits (7) and is mounted rotatably on a cutter jib, in which the coolant can be fed, via channels inside the cutter head, to the nozzles (10, 16), in particular with the connection in between of valves operated by the bits (7) and/or a sector control, characterized - in that the space ahead of the nozzle (10, 16) is connected via a choke (17, 20) to the coolant feed line (1), - in that the nozzle (10, 16) is arranged in a component bounding the space downstream of the choke (17, 20), - in that at least one sensor (2), for recording of the flow rate and/or the pressure (P1), is connected in the coolant feed line (1), - in cases where use is made of a pressure sensor for the pressure (P1), least one further sensor (21) recording the pressure (P2) in the space ahead of the nozzle and the pressures (P1, P2) being compared by means of an evaluation circuit (3), - and in that a signal is triggered if the pressure (P2) approaches the pressure (P1) or if there is a predetermined rise in the flow rate at the sensor (2). |
