METHOD OF SEALING A TUBE OR A ROD IN AN OPENING OF A CONSTRUCTION ELEMENT

An elastic coil is wound along the tube and is free to slide along the tube. A filler is introduced between the turns of the coil and between the outside of the tube and the inside of the hole in the wall or other constructional element. The filler introduced before the tube is put into the hole. The so-prepared tube is then pushed into the hole and the turns of the coil previously equidistant are now compressed axially as they fit into the gap between wall and tube. The coil is helical and is extended for introducing the filler and then released so its turns compress.
