PURPOSE:To improve the crystallization velocity of a polyarylene thioether, to achieve the fineness of its crystalline structure and to shorten the molding cycle in injection molding, by blending the thioether with a specific nucleating polymer. CONSTITUTION:At least one nucleating polymer selected from the group consisting of polythioether ketones (A) having at least 50mol.% of repeating units of formula I and an m.p. not lower than 290 deg.C or a melt crystallization temp. not lower than 220 deg.C and polyarylene thioethers (B) having at least 30mol.% of repeating units of formula II and an m.p. not lower than 290 deg.C or a melt crystallization temp. not lower than 220 deg.C is prepd. 0.001-10pts.wt. said nucleating polymer is blended with 100pts.wt. polyarylene thioether having repeating units of formula III as a main structural unit to shorten the semicrystallization time at 250 deg.C by 1/1.5 or below.
