PURPOSE:To shorten the period of construction as well as raise the safety of construction work by separately setting on vertical two stages of a columnar leg foundation beams made of precast reinforced concrete. CONSTITUTION:In a foundation beam 5, a footing 1a is supported by foundation piles 6, and columnar legs 7 are vertically and integrally formed on the footing 1a. The PC foundation beam 5 consisting of parts 5a and 5b is constructed in a vertically two-stage structure between the legs 7. The upper end of the upper stage PC foundation beam 5a is integrally joined with a floor slab 8 by stirrups. The quality of concrete in the beam can be raised and the construction period can be drastically shortened because reinforcing work and forming work at the construction site can be omitted.
