PURPOSE:To prevent the input of noise from an exchange or a telephone line to a voice recognition device by providing a hook switch controller controlling the hook switch in response to the connecting state to the voice recognition device. CONSTITUTION:At first, a registered voice is inputted from a transmitter 4 and stored in the voice recognition device 6 at the voice registration. In this case, the voice recognition device 6 gives an instruction to a hook switch controller 8 to keep the hook switch 2 open. When the voice is inputted from the transmitter 4, the voice is recognized by the voice recognition device 6 and the registered voice stored at registration is outputted to a dial number memory 7. The voice recognition device 6 gives an instruction to the controller 8 in this case to keep the hook switch 2 open and as soon as the result of recognition is sent to the memory 7, the hook switch 2 is closed.
