PURPOSE:To suppress the fluctuation of an envelope at band limit by using a sinusoidal half period waveform as a phase transition waveform in a time slot of a transmission signal so as to eliminate the phase discontinuous point in the time slot. CONSTITUTION:A phase transition waveform psi(t) in one time slot of a data is a sinusoidal half period waveform as shown in figure, and the phase transition waveform in the 1st time slot and the (n+1)th time slot apart by prescribed (n) time slot has the same shape and the entire waveform is shifted by theta according to the sent information. That is, the differential coding of (n) time slot is applied. In such a case, plural kinds of the phase transition waveforms psi(t) may be used and a maximum of n-kind of phase transition waveforms in the time slot are selected.
