In a process for the preparation of polymer alloys comprising at least one polymer and a copolymer as modifying component, it is provided according to the invention that the terpolymer ethylene-ethyl acetate-maleic anhydride (E.EA.MA) is admixed with the polymer phase in a preferably single-screw extruder with a temperature profile of from 200 to 300 degrees Celsius.
