PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a radio line control station by providing a judging function representing zone position on a mobile station. CONSTITUTION:A mobile station 4 compares electric field strength of radio waves of paging channels (P1-CH, P2-CH) 11, 14 sent from radio base stations 1, 2, use an access channel (A-CH) 12 to send a call request. The calling request includes the information of the result of comparison of the electric field strength. A radio base station 1 receives the calling request and treats it in its own station when it is recognized that the electric field strength of the channel 11 is larger than that of the channel 14. A radio base station 1 relays the calling request to a telephone exchange station 5 to request the exchange processing and gives a instruction of using an idle talking channel (S1-CH) 13 among lots of talking channels. Then, the telephone set 16 of opposite terminal equipment is called to be in the communication state after the reply. |
