PURPOSE:To obtain the title structure which is light and excellent in strength without causing dissolution of a core material, by applying a filler and/or an organic or inorganic fiber or the like to the surface of a core material comprising a foam and impregnating this material with a specified polyester resin composition and curing this resin. CONSTITUTION:A polyester resin composition (C) is obtained by mixing a room temperature-curable unsaturated polyester resin (a) with a monofunctional or polyfunctional acrylic monomer (b) as a crosslinking agent or a diluent, a peroxide (c) such as a curing agent and a metal salt (d) as a cure accelerator. A filler and/or an organic or inorganic fiber or the like (B) are applied by, e.g., winding to the surface of a core material of any desired shape (A) which comprises a foam (e.g., styrene foam) of insufficient solvent resistance and the resulting core material is impregnated with component C so that the film thickness may be 0.1-3mm and is cured at 15-45 deg.C to obtain a composite structure such as a (wind)surfboard.
