A toy construction kit comprises first and second flat blanks (1, 13, 14, 15, 19) with fold lines which define rectangular tabs capable of being bent over. The first and second blanks can be fitted into each other, after bending over of the tabs, to form a three-dimensional, especially cuboid component. The bent-over tabs of the blanks then lie one above the other. The toy construction kit further comprises clip components (42-45, 50, 56, 71, 74, 76), each of which has two lateral flanges and at least one web connecting the latter to each other. The clip components additionally have raised and lowered portions which can be clipped into one another from the outside in pairs. By means of the clip components, the two blanks, assembled to form a three-dimensional module (34-41), can in each case be held together. <IMAGE>
