PURPOSE:To automatically set a sheet to a position for printing the rear surface of a sheet on one surface of which a printing is finished, by forming a first passage for guiding the sheet from a sheet supply tray to printing means, a second passage for guiding the sheet from the printing means to a guide plate, and a third passage for guiding the sheet from the guide plate through part of the first passage to the printing means. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 1 stored in a sheet supply tray 2 is taken-out by a sheet feed roller 3, guided along a guide plate 4, printed on its one surface by a printing means 8. The printed sheet 1 is guided by a guide plate 10a and a blade 17, and guided to a guide plate 9. When the sheet is printed and finished on one surface and the end of the sheet 1 is discharged between rollers 1 and 12, the end of the sheet 1 is moved along a sheet end guide 10b, slidably dropped under its own weight toward a roller 6 while it is guided by the plate 9 after it is removed from the guide 10b, again guided along the plate 4, and conveyed by the rollers 6, 7. |
