PURPOSE:To shorten a pressure fixation time and to improve the efficiency of operation by collapsing capsules by a pressing member which moves at a high speed and then fixing agents to be fixed in the capsules to a recording form by a fixing means. CONSTITUTION:A capsule sheet 63 unwound from a sheet roll passes between a support surface 7 and a corrosion plate 61, and a 2nd support plate 49 and between a support roll 89 and a fixing roll 93 and is taken up around a take-up roll. When a latent image corresponding to a recording form 5 is formed on the sheet 63 with ultraviolet rays or visible light beams from an exposure device, the recording form 5 and sheet 63 are fed to the rotational track carrying-in side of a pressure roll 83 while being clamped between 1st rollers 13 and 14, and unset microcapsules applied over the sheet 63 are collapsed by the press- contacting of the roll 83, so that part of charged ink is mixed and fixed on the recording form 5. At this time, the corrosion plate 61 which deforms elastically owing to the pressure contacting of the roll 83 constrains the recording form 5 and sheet 63 between the support surface 7 and collision plate 61, thereby wrinkles from being formed.
