The fleece calender (100) comprises a nip (30) formed from a heated roller (6) and a counterroller (5) cooperating with the latter and a feed device (10) for the fibre layer (15). Moreover, a second nip (40) having a heated embossing roller (6) and a counterroller (5) is provided. The two nips (30, 40) can be fed selectively by the same feed device (10), so that the embossing rollers (6) can be exchanged without a long interruption in production. <IMAGE>
