PURPOSE:To always enable the stable development of a planographic plate with a small amount of a developer, thereby lessening the uneven development by supplying the developer to the surface of said plate from a prescribed slit, and by unifying the developer supplied to said plate by a jagged roller. CONSTITUTION:The titled method relates to the method for developing said plate 1 by means of an automatic processor. Namely, first, the plate 1 image- likely exposed is transferred to the processor, and the developer flowed from the slit 3 is supplied to the plate 1 along the transverse direction of the plate 1. Next, the developer is unified on the plate 1 by means of the jagged roller 7. Subsequently, the plate 1 is transferred to a 2nd developing part, and the developer is spouted from a shower nozzle 15, followed by developing and then, the surplus developer is removed by a squeeze roller 14, thereby finishing the development. Thus, the slit 3 is composed from two sheets of plates (such as a plastic sheet) and the space of the slit is variable, and the plate existing at the side of the outlet of the processor, seeing from the direction of carrying the plate 1 is shortened. And, a plastic wire bar roller is used for the roller 7. |
