PURPOSE:To sufficiently ensure high casting pressure on placing a core by the time of casting and to easily removing the core after casting by providing a metallic shell and sand having good fluidity enclosed in hollow part thereof in the placing of core for pressure casting. CONSTITUTION:The core 1 for pressure casting in constituted by the metallic shell 2 and the sand 3 having good fluidity enclosed in the inner part thereof. Opening hole 4a for introducing gas is arranged on a cover 4 of this placing core 1, so as to fit an opening hole 4a for introducing gas to a pressure pipe 5 in dies 11, 12. During casting, the pressure gas is introduced into the metallic shell 2 in the placing core 1 through the pressure pipe 5 from outside, to raise the pressure in the metallic shell 2. By this method, the casting having high quality is formed by high pressure and after forming, the sand in the shell 2 of the placing core 1 can be effectively removed.
