Hydraulically actuated application device for a disc brake. In known fully lined or partly lined disc brakes, a heat flux takes place via the brake jaws during braking operations to be executed for a relatively long time and greatly heats at least one piston of the hydraulically working application device. This necessitates the use of a special brake fluid having a high capacity for thermal load for the brake system. This brake fluid is aggressive and hygroscopic, and it is therefore impossible to use it as a medium for a central supply system for activating various further vehicle devices, such as a power-steering device, level-regulating device and the like. The new hydraulic application device has heat insulation which allows the possibility of connecting the brake system to a central supply system for a plurality of vehicle devices.
