A clean-room system contains a blower and a clean gas-generating apparatus, containing a suspended-matter filter, or a central clean air-processing device (10) and a clean-gas distributor (30) for generating a laminar displacement flow of clean gas, preferably clean air, in a clean room (1) with work area or production equipment (4) situated therein, the clean-gas distributor comprising at least two screens (32, 33 or 34) which are arranged at a distance from one another and through which the clean gas flows successively. Of the two screens (32, 33 or 34), at least the outlet side, facing the clean room (1), of the outer screen (32) adjacent to the latter is convexly curved towards the clean room (1). A work area (4) in the clean room (1) is covered in a virtually turbulence-free manner with clean gas by the distributor (10). <IMAGE>
