PURPOSE:To accurately regulate the fuel flow with an inexpensive device by forming a regulation control device for controlling fuel flow regulating means in a fuel system leading to a fuel injector, from a vacuum operator, and connecting a vacuum chamber of the vacuum operator to a suction passage portion downstream of a throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:In a gasoline injection engine provided with a throttle valve 9 and a fuel injector 13 in a suction passage 7, the fuel injector 13 is connected to a fuel tank 15 through a fuel system F including fuel flow regulating means A in a fuel supply line 14. The fuel flow regulating means A is controlled by the operation of a regulation control device B to regulate a fuel flow matching an intake air flow. The regulation control device B is formed by a vacuum operator 35 provided above a fuel relief chamber 43 of a pressure regulating valve 40 as the fuel flow regulating means A. A vacuum chamber 35a is separated from the fuel relief chamber 43 by a diaphragm 50. The vacuum chamber 35a is communicated with a suction passage portion 7a downstream of the throttle valve 9. An output portion 37 of the vacuum operator 35 is connected to a regulation input portion 38.
