<p>PURPOSE:To quickly select the source programs recorded on a magnetic tape by adding a pseudo number to the driving direction of the tape based on the reel revolution signal. CONSTITUTION:The reel revolution signal corresponds to the reel revolving position and therefore the count value of such reel revolution signals can be used to show the absolute address of each part of a magnetic tape. For instance, the count value is set at 0 at the initiation of the tape and then increased sequentially toward the termination of the tape every time a reel revolution signal is detected. When a desired music is called, a pseudo number (x) or a music number to be converted into the number (x) is inputted from outside. Then a comparator compares the input value (x) with the count value N and the FF or the REW is continued until N=x is obtained. The FF or the REW is temporarily stopped at a time point when N=x is obtained and the PLAY is started at this position. In such a way, the source programs recorded on the magnetic tape can be quickly selected.</p> |
