PURPOSE:To prevent a toner from being offset even at the time of a high temperature fixation, by providing a room temperature vulcanization or low temperature vulcanization silicone rubber layer on a fixing roller, specifying its surface average roughness, and also, forming the surface of a pressure roller by a fluororesin. CONSTITUTION:As for a fixing roller 1, a rubber layer 1B is provided on a mandrel pipe 1A, by RTV (room temperature vulcanization) silicone rubber or LTV (low temperature vulcanization) rubber, and the surface roughness of the fixing roller 1, that is, the surface average roughness of the RTV silicone rubber or LTV silicone rubber layer is Rz<=6mum. On the other hand, as for a pressure roller 2, fluororubber latex coating is performed or its surface. In such a way, even if a recording material having an unfixed toner is fed in between both the rollers 1, 2, the toner is scarcely offset by the fixing roller 1.
