<p>This sword blade has, in cross-section and in every zone of its length, a shape of which the moments of inertia in relation to the transverse plane of inertia (x'-x) containing the neutral axis, are substantially equal, this shape being composed, on the one hand, of a polygonal elementary section A having at least two faces (10a-10b) parallel to the plane of inertia and, on the other hand, two elementary sections (B) spaced equally on either side of the vertical mid-plane (P) of the blade, each having a polygonal shape possessing at least two faces (14a-14b) parallel to the plane of inertia, these last two elementary sections each being connected to the section (A) by means of stress concentration studs (19) accumulating the fatigue occurring as a result of stresses on the blade and arranged so as to intersect the plane of inertia (x'-x).
