The insulating end-plates (6, 7) of a rotor of a rotary electric machine comprising a sheet metal stack (2) with grooves (3) housing conductors (4, 5) which are brought together at a collector (10) are applied against the ends of the said sheet metal stack (2). At least one insulating end-plate (7) comprises a collar (11) acting as a hoop attached to the central part (12) of the insulating end-plate (7) by connecting lugs (14) which delimit openings (15) arranged correspondingly with the grooves (3) and traversed by the conductors (4, 5). The collar (11) situated between the sheet metal stack (2) and the collector (10) is notable in that all the connecting lugs (14) which attach the collar (11) continuously to the central part (12) of the insulating end-plate (7) have a bent "L" shape so that the collar (11) is positioned in front of the plane containing the central part (12) of the insulating end-plate (7).
