In a method of stabilizing absorbed carbon dioxide in carbonated drinks, the basic liquid is de-aerated by e.g. reduced pressure in a closed container, carbon dioxide gas injection with a carbonator or by an ultrasonic wave device, is saturated with carbon dioxide gas under pressure in a carbonator, and is subjected to ultrasonic vibrations under 2-5 kg./cm.2 pressure of additional carbon dioxide gas. It is then passed out under the same pressure for bottling. Apparatus for carrying out the method may include a quartz or magneto-striction vibration element with a frequency of 22,000 cycles per second. |
