PURPOSE:To obtain hydrophilic polysulphone membrane which is highly heat-and chemical-resistant and also significantly permeable by providing block polymer produced by covalent bonding of the terminal region of polyester sulphone with sulphonated aromatic polysulphone as a constituent element. CONSTITUTION:An active chlomethyl group is introduced to the terminal of polyethersulphone A having an iterative unit of the formula I. In the meantime, aromatic polysulphone B having an active terminal is obtained by allowing 4, 4'-dichlorodiphenyl sulphone to react to aromatic polysulphone having one kind of iterative unit selected by the formulas II-IV and the iterative unit of the formula I. This aromatic polysulphone B is dissolved with a solvent, and allowed to react with polyether sulphone A to obtain a block polymer. This block polymer is dissolved with solvent, and this solution spreads over polyester unwoven fabric. Then it is immersed in water to coagulate, thus obtaining a separation membrane. |
