PURPOSE:To process the function blocks in parallel with each other by storing the programs for execution of the functions of said blocks into a ROM including a memory managing part, an error correcting part, an output processing part and a subcode processing part. CONSTITUTION:A train of information bits is recorded to an optical disk along its rotational direction. On a demodulating integrated circuit for a device which radiates the light beams to the optical disk to reproduce the information, a demodulating part 7, a memory managing part 9, an error correcting part 8, an output processing part 10, a subcode processing part 11, a CVL control part 12, a memory 13, and a timing generator 14. A program counter 1, a ROM 2, a latch 3, a control part 4, a RAM 5 and an ALU 6 are provided. Then each function block is processed by the part 7 and with use of the control signal read out of the optical disk. Thus plural function blocks are carried out in parallel with each other and the executing speed of an instruction can be reduced.
