PURPOSE:To facilitate carrying and to permit radiation image information recording with good workability by providing an accumulation type fluorescent materials sheet cartridge for housing a band-shaped accumulation type fluorescent material sheet into a light shieldable case. CONSTITUTION:The radiations transmitted through a subject are projected to the accumulation type fluorescent material sheet 12 in a sheet extending part 13 and the radiation image information is accumulated and recorded on the sheet in this part if the accumulation type fluorescent material sheet cartridge 10 is so disposed that the sheet extending part 13 faces a radiation source via the subject placed therebetween and the radiation source is operated. The sheet 12 is taken up from a 1st or 2nd take-up shaft to the other take-up shaft side if the 1st or 2nd take-up shafts 21, 22 are rotated, for example, by hand and, therefore, the fresh part of the sheet 12 where the radiation image information is not recorded can be disposed in the sheet extending part 13. Recording of the many radiation images is permitted by alternately repeating the recording of the radiation image information and the taking up of the sheet in such a manner.
