PURPOSE:To always automatically execute suitable heat reserve in accordance with variation of operating condition by applying fuzzy resoning to deviation of furnace outlet temp. and blast temp. at the fixed time during base time and controlling combustion gas flowing rate by setting the last value of exhaust gas temp. during combustion time. CONSTITUTION:The deviation DELTAT between the outlet temp. TG of a hot blast stove 1 and the blast aimed temp. TO is treated in a PI control device 6, and a variable part DELTATEXMA1 of the setting value of the exhaust temp. the time from the deviation DELTAT and the setting value TEXMA0 of the exhaust temp. in a junction point 7, is found and converted to triangle-shaped membership function M1 in the fuzzy reasoning part 8. On the other hand, a trend DELTADELTAT and a deviation DELTAT' are found in a trend operating part 11 and junction point 12 from the deviation DELTAT, and the membership function M2 is found in the fuzzy reasoning part 13.
