PURPOSE:To indicate valve opening certainly, by planting reflecting metal plates on the outer circumference of a holder for a valve operating shaft, setting a high-frequency transmitting/receiving device as it gets near to the reflecting metal plates, and connecting a count meter to the high-frequency transmitting/ receiving device. CONSTITUTION:A holder 2 is fixed on a valve operating shaft 1, five reflecting metal plates 3 are planted at intervals of 30 degrees on the outer circumferential surface of the holder 2, a high-frequency transmitting/receiving device 4 is fixedly set as it gets near to the outer circumference of the holder 2, and a count meter 5 is connected to the high-frequency transmitting/receiving device 4. In this way, the valve opening can be indicated on the count meter 5 certainly, with the operation of the valve operating shaft 1, and an operator who opens/closes the valve can perform the operation correctly as watching the count meter 5.
