PURPOSE:To reduce the size of the titled device and to permit free changing of a photographing position by fixing a small-sized recording and reading unit which contains an accumulative type fluorescent material sheet and is provided with image recording, reading and erasing functions to one end of a supporting arm which is partly supported to a base body and can be displaced. CONSTITUTION:This device consists of the recording and reading unit 1 provided with the image recording part 10, the reading part 20 and the erasing part 30 in a housing and the supporting arm 4 fixed with this unit 1 at one end. The unit 1 has two roller parts, the spacing between which is set equal to the length of one image plane. The image recording part 10 is disposed above a recording belt 2 and the image reading part 20 and erasing part 30 are disposed in the lower part. The length in the transverse direction over the entire part of the device is, therefore, reduced nearly to the length of one image plane. Moving of such recording and reading unit by mounting the unit on one end of the supporting arm 4 is sufficiently possible. The entire part of the device is thereby reduced in size and weight; in addition, photographing of the head part, the hands and legs, etc., by freely changing the photographing positions is permitted.
