Lateral sealing for a screening machine having an elastic sealing body which seals the gap between a lateral cheek and the screen cloth and is connected to the lateral cheek. In order to construct the sealing so as to be simple and low in wear, it is provided that the sealing body is formed by a sealing strip consisting of an elastic, low-wear material, such as polyurethane or rubber, which covers the vibration region of the screen body on both sides of the latter and is pre-stressed towards the lateral edge of the screen body. |
