PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of the device by winding a holding electric winding coaxially around an activating electric winding of a gas flow controlling solenoid valve in the city gas combustion controller. CONSTITUTION:An activating electric winding 11 is wound around a bobbin 17 and further a holding electric winding 12 is wound coaxially around the winding 11 to form a winding of a solenoid valve 6a. In this constitution, a movable iron core 8 is pressed downward by a force exerted by a spring 26, and a valve body 10 blocks a valve seat 9 and closes a gas outlet 20. In this state, when a pulsating current is caused to flow through the activating electric winding 11 and a DC current is caused to flow to the holding electric winding 12 in correspondence to a signal from a combustion temperature detection sensor, not shown, the movable iron core 8 is attracted to a stationary iron core 7. As a result, the valve body 10 moves upward and opens. This state is held as long as the power supply to the holding electric winding 12 continues, and the supply of the gas is continued. By this constitution, the structure of the device is simple and rigid. |
