PURPOSE:To detect a setting data revised uniquely by a device to be monitored without deteriorating a fault monitoring operation of the entire network at a conventional periodic polling operation by including an identification data and an identification data check flag into a polling data. CONSTITUTION:A monitor 11 and devices 21-41 to be monitored are connected via a line 51 and a storage device 12 storing the setting data and identification data for plural devices to be monitored is connected to the monitor 11. The setting data and identification data of its own device are down-loaded from the monitor to each device to be monitored at the system rising and storage devices 22-42 storing them are connected. Then in the devices 21, 31, 41 to be monitored, when the setting data is revised uniquely, the identification data is also revised. Thus, the monitor receives an identification data check flag representing the coincidence/dissidence of the identification data only to easily grasp the revision of the setting data at the device to be monitored. |
